Turkish Airlines, Baku Shopping Festival partnership to surprise shopaholics

The number of companies cooperating with the Baku Shopping Festival is increasing every day, which creates additional opportunities and benefits for buyers.
Turkish Airlines, one of the fastest growing airline companies of the world, has launched a special campaign within the partnership with the Baku Shopping Festival.
Turkish Airlines will offer additional 10-kg free luggage space for passengers of the Baku flight until May 10.
During the whole period of the Festival, passengers who have a Tax Free declaration can take an additional 10 kg of luggage free of charge during check-in for Turkish Airlines flights.
Turkish Airlines operates flights from Baku to hundreds of cities around the world. For tourists who use the services of Turkish Airlines, this is an excellent opportunity.

Since the beginning of the Baku Shopping Festival on April 10 until
April 24, the Taxes Ministry returned over 612,970 manat ($365,641)
as VAT.
The total sales amounted to approximately 6.3 million manats ($3.75 million), which means that 10 percent of the funds spent by the buyers were returned.
Facilities that have joined the VAT refund system will have special stickers entitled “Baku Shopping Festival - Tax Free.” VAT will be refunded only to those buyers, who purchased the goods at the facilities with such a sticker.
During the festival, a buyer [Azerbaijani citizens or foreigners] can have the VAT refunded at the banks in case the amount of the purchased goods exceeds 100 manats ($58) [including VAT].
