Pakistani envoy: Relations with Azerbaijan at highest level

Relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan are at the highest level, Pakistani Ambassador to Azerbaijan Saeed Khan Mohmand told reporters in Baku Mar. 23.
The diplomat noted that the two countries have been successfully developing relations for 25 years.
He said that three presidents, as well as two prime ministers of Pakistan visited Azerbaijan during this period.
He noted that all high-level visits once again demonstrate intense bilateral cooperation between the two sides.
The Pakistani ambassador added that Azerbaijan and Pakistan are developing cooperation in different directions, including economy, culture, food and social spheres.
The diplomat expressed hope for cooperation between the two countries to increase during his work in Azerbaijan.
Saeed Khan Mohmand also noted the importance of the initiative to hold the 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games in Azerbaijan.
Preparation is underway for participation of Pakistani athletes in these Games, he said.
