President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu.

Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu conveyed greetings of President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the head of state. Mevlut Cavusoglu said: “I spoke with President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan before coming here, and I said that Mr. President will receive us. He asked me to extend his greetings to Mr. President and told me “ask my brother Ilham, if I can do him any favor?”

Wishing good health to the President of Turkey, the head of state said: “You know that we have a very close relationship with esteemed President. We are bound by ties of friendship and brotherhood.”

President Ilham Aliyev hailed the close relations among heads of various ministries of the two countries.

They also discussed a number of issues of mutual interest.

The head of state thanked for the greetings of President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and asked Mevlut Cavusoglu to communicate his greetings to the Turkish President.
