Publis health services center transfers some authorities to Health Ministry

The ambulance, emergency medical care service "103" and outpatient care service that had been under the jurisdiction of the Association for the Management of Medical Territorial Units (TABIB), will temporarily be under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan, local media reported with reference to TABIB’s Press Secretary Revane Aliyeva on June 24.
Aliyeva said that it is planned to involve medical workers working in sanitary-epidemiological and epidemiological fields in identification of coronavirus centers and organization of medical aid in these centers.
However, inpatient treatment of persons infected with a new type of coronavirus infection will be carried out by the Association for the Management of Medical Territorial Units (TABİB).
Aliyeva emphasized that this would be the case during the pandemic, adding that there are no changes in TABİB structure.
