F1 Grand Prix of Europe: Verstappen impressed by Baku’s architecture
The Formula One circuit in Baku is quite complicated with long, straight and sharp turns, Red Bull's Max Verstappen said at a press conference in Baku June 16, on the eve of the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Europe.
The Formula 1 Grand Prix of Europe will be held in Baku June 17-19.
"I believe this stage [of the F1 Grand Prix of Europe] will bring many surprises. We and other teams should be ready for that," said Verstappen.
Max Verstappen noted that this is his first visit to Baku and he is already impressed by the city's architecture and atmosphere.
Reminding that his father had participated in the GT racing in Baku and was speaking well of the city, Verstappen said it is very interesting for him to come and compete here.
