Interview with Esteban Gutierrez, Haas F1 team.

What could you say about Baku City Circuit layout? Have you already tested it in the factory simulator?

I have tested the track and it’s pretty amazing, I believe it’s going to be a great track with a lot of challenges.

What do you know about Baku and Azerbaijan?

Before the race was announced, honestly, I didn’t know anything. But now that we are racing there it’s a place that I’m very curiosity to visit and I’m really looking forward to it.

What can you say about your season started?

It hasn’t been an easy start for me, but lately every race things have been getting better and better. It’s that progress that keeps me motivated to turn the season around in the remaining races.

What do you make first after arriving to new country/track?

Try some good local food.

What was the funniest moment in your racing career?

So far, I’ve had some great moments with my new team this year which I have enjoyed. I’m looking forward to what the future has in store for us.

If you could add to Formula 1 only one thing - what it could be?

If you could choose one F1 car, one team mate, one F1 era – what would it be? Era 90’s, team mate Ayrton Senna and F1 car, Ferrari 2008.

What would you do in the world without racing?

Real estate business, I like construction and project development to modernize cities. But I would still be racing. Racing is my life.

Which book have you read in this year?

I’ve read a few, my favorite so far is the Wisdom of Andrew Carnegie.

Could you name TOP-3 of the last music albums?

My definite favorite is the latest from Coldplay.

Which film are you waiting the most?

The life of Enzo Ferrari.
