Baku City Circuit (BCC) signed a memorandum of understanding on mutual cooperation with PASHA Bank, one of Azerbaijan’s major banks on May 6.

Based on this agreement, PASHA Bank will henceforth act as Baku City Circuit’s Banking Partner. The Memorandum creates a framework for the establishment of strong partner relationships and the conducting of various joint campaigns between both organisations.

The Memorandum was signed by Bulent Ozerdim, BCC’s Head of Commercial and Aydin Atakishiyev, of the Executive Board of PASHA Bank.

Speaking at the event on behalf of BCC, Bulent Ozerdim noted that this mutual cooperation would contribute greatly to the high-level organisation of the race: “It is a great honour to partner with PASHA Bank, one of the major financial institutions of Azerbaijan, on the eve of the inaugural Formula One Grand Prix of Europe to be held in Baku.

The Formula One race weekend, which will be hosted on the streets of Baku will open up many new business opportunities for our city. To fully maximise this opportunity, we will work together with our new partners to maintain high performance standards at all times.

We believe that our joint efforts will ensure a high-level organisation of the event and contribute to the effective development of mutually beneficial commercial opportunities.”

Aydin Atakishiyev of PASHA Bank echoed these sentiments: “Since the first day of its establishment, PASHA Bank has positioned itself not just as a regular bank, but as a dependable partner which customers can always rely upon.

The staff of PASHA Bank brings together high level expertise and experience to ensure all our customers build successful businesses. These opportunities will enable our customers to succeed even in the most difficult and challenging circumstances”.

The conditions of the Memorandum specify that the parties have committed to collaborating to facilitate greater outreach to a larger audience with regards to the business services both parties offer.
