Azerbaijani movie to be screened at Munich Film Festival

The “Lesson” film by Azerbaijani filmmakers will be screened at the 34th Munich film Festival, Azertac reports.

The film was produced at the order of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism by the Azerbaijanfilm studio.

Elza Agayeva and Anastasiya Volkova are the scriptwriters of "Lesson". The film was by Rafiq Aliyev and Cavid Tavakkul and produced by Musfig Hatamov. The photography was done for Rauf Qurbanaliyev. T

"Lesson" deals with the life of Baku schoolchildren, their way of establishing friendship and bearing responsibility for their actions. This is the first film for children made in independent Azerbaijan.

The film was shot in Baku's secondary schools No 132 and No 134.

"Only non-professional actors are engaged in the film," the film director said. "It was quite easy to work with the young actors."
