Azerbaijani film gains popularity in Turkey

The full-length feature film " Zaman adli qatar" (The Time Machine), directed by Kanan Musayev has gained popularity among Turkish TV channels, Trend Life reports.

Its movie trailer has been shown on several Turkish TV channels over the past days.

The amazing family film will be shown in Russia, Georgia and in a number of Turkic-speaking countries, said Valeriy Ilishayev, the general producer of the film.

Nizami Cinema Center hosted a gala night of the full-length feature film on March 7. The film is based on real event that took place in Mardakan, a small town in north-east of Baku in 2007.

The storyline is about the young couple, Irada and Fuad, who faced a tragedy. Irada died from serious illness. However, her little daughter, the 5 year- old Zeynab, hopes to see her mother again. The attempts of relatives to explain that her mother is no longer alive failed. Little Zeynab still believes that her mother will come back.

One day, grandmother Sanuber khanum sees the poster of the rising star Leyla, who looks like her deceased daughter in law.

Perhaps Irada left this world, leaving behind her doppelganger Leyla? Will Fuad and Leyla be happy? Is there is a change for Zeynab to return her mother back?

The film's main stars are Hamida Omariva, Ayaz Salayev and other starts of Azerbaijani cinematography.

Complementing them on screen are Oksana Rasulova, Vusal Murtuzaliyev, Konul Nagiyeva, Murad Mammadov, Sugra Bagirzade, Shakhriyar Abilov and the 8 year-old Ayan Babayeva.

The idea author is Kanan Musayev, the screenwriter- Nargiz Bagirzade, the operator- Yuri Varnovski, the music-by Inara Rasulova, the general producer- Valeriy Ilishayev.
