Azerbaijan joins “Maslenitsa” festival in London
An Azerbaijani dance group has participated in the annual "Maslenitsa" festival in London , AzerTag state news agency reported.
The Azerbaijani dance group`s participation in the event was organized by The European Azerbaijan Society.
This family friendly festival taking place in Trafalgar Square was free to attend and promised live music and performances throughout the afternoon.
The festival also featured UK based Russian musical groups, who entertained the crowds from the main stage.
Last year's festival included puppet theatre, traditional songs by children's groups, games and competitions, and more fun family.
