Azerbaijani archeological findings presented in Macedonia

National Ohrid Museum Robevci House in Macedonia held a photo exhibition titled "The Features of Azerbaijan's Archeology".

The news was announced by Miras, the public association assisting cultural heritage studies.

The exhibition, organized by Miras and the Macedonian Institute for Socio-Cultural Anthropology, presents more than 70 images of Azerbaijani and Italian photographers.

The photos by Mamed Ragimov, Walter Niselli, Ruslana, Zaki Babazade, and Arzu Murvatova have captured archaeological sites, as well as material and cultural patterns of the found monuments.

Macedonian socio-cultural anthropology institute employee Rubin Zemon praised the work of the Miras public association, and member of the association Irada Gadirova talked about archaeological research in Azerbaijan.

The exhibition presented publications of the Azerbaijan Culture and Tourism Ministry and Miras, as well as the book titled, "Pearls of Azerbaijan".

The exhibition was attended by representatives of the executive power of Ohrid and research institutions and universities of Macedonia, Italy, Belgium, Albania, Turkey, Belarus, Romania, and France.

Archeological excavations are held around Azerbaijan. During the last 2013 years, medieval and ancient coins, settlements, and cultural monuments were found in the country.
