Works by famous artists Tahir Salakhov and Aidan Salakhova are on display at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art (MMOMA) from August 20 until September 22, according to the museum's official website.

The artists are exhibiting their works in MMOMA as part of an exhibition of the Russian Academy of Art Presidium members.

Paintings, graphic works, sculptures, and works pertaining to decorative and applied art, as well as architectural projects, are shown as part of the exhibition.

According to MMOMA, the artists represented at the exhibition belong to different age groups, including younger generation artists Aidan Salakhova, Konstantin Khudyakov, Vasily Tsereteli, and Yelena Tsereteli, who have put to use some new media and technologies while employing conventional media.

The art of the older generation of the Russian Academy of Arts representatives will be represented by the works of Zurab Tsereteli, Tair Salakhov, Dmitry Zhilinsky, Boris Messerer, Alexei Shmarinov, and Lev Shepelev (1937-2013).

In June, Moscow's Central House of Artists showcased works by Tahir Salakhov as part of the International Art Festival "Traditions and Modernity", which featured the creations of over 300 artists from Azerbaijan, Russia, the USA, Austria, Germany, and the Netherlands.

Tahir Salakhov, one of the most prominent representatives of the Azerbaijani art, is the vice-president and honorary president of the International Association of Plastic Arts of UNESCO, the vice-president of the Russian Academy of Arts, People's Artist of the USSR, Azerbaijan and Russia, and is the winner of a number of high awards, including the State Prize of the USSR and Azerbaijan.

Aidan Salakhova, daughter of the famous artist, is an artist herself, a famous gallery owner, a social activist, a teacher at the Surikov Art Institute in Moscow, and a member of the Russian Academy of Arts.

In 1992, Salakhova founded a gallery, which became one of the most reputable private galleries in Russia engaged in contemporary art. Aidan is a well-known participant of exhibitions, fairs and biennials, and her works are kept in private and public collections, including the State Tretyakov Gallery, Moscow Museum of Modern Art, and the Foundation "Ekaterina".
