Film festival in Russia to screen Azerbaijani movie
The Swing of the Undertaker, the movie by Azerbaijani filmmaker Elmar Imanov will attend the international "Silence, on court!" festival in France.
The half-hour tape by the Azerbaijani director, who lives in Germany, has already gained success in the international arena, including winning the most prestigious youth award - Student Academy Award of the American Academy.
Swing of the Undertaker, is a psychological drama about a father and son, played on the background of the semi-desert landscape of the Azerbaijan province.
The international jury of festival appreciates most of the films that bring forth the idea of a person's moral transformation, or their spiritual development. On the program of the forthcoming festival are films of all genres and styles, including feature films and animated cartoons.
The Festival provides an opportunity for young directors not only to learn the secrets of world cinema and film production, but also to participate in the formation of the European cinema.
