Former Romanian president tours historic sites of Baku
Former Romanian President Emil Constantinescu, who is in Baku to
attend the International Humanitarian Forum, on Thursday toured the
Icharishahar, Old City, an historic core of Azerbaijan`s
capital.
The former president was informed about Icharishahar, which was
included in the UNESCO`s World Heritage List.
Constantinescu visited the 15th-century Palace of Shirvanshahs and
the 12th-century Maiden Tower, which are considered the country`s
landmark monuments.
He also visited the Sirataghli Complex and the Art Garden.
