Azerbaijani musicians are taking part in Turkiye’s renowned “Kültür Yolu” (Culture Road)festival, one of the country’s most celebrated cultural events.

According to Azernews, a special concert titled “From Beloved Azerbaijan, with Love” was held in the city of Erzurum as part of the festival program. The event was organized with the support of the ministries of culture of both countries and the Azerbaijan Cultural Center in Turkiye.

The concert, hosted at Erzurum’s İbrahim Erkal Cultural Palace, drew a large audience, including government officials, public figures, and music enthusiasts.

Opening the evening, Samir Abbasov, Director of the Azerbaijan Cultural Center in Turkiye, highlighted the historical friendship and brotherhood between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, stressing that cultural ties are flourishing alongside political and economic ones. He referred to National Leader Heydar Aliyev’s famous motto, “One nation, two states,” underlining that the “Kültür Yolu” festival provides a global stage to present Azerbaijan’s rich cultural heritage, traditional music, and national dances.

The program featured a performance by the celebrated “Karabakh” Mugham Ensemble, led by People’s Artist Mansum Ibrahimov. Joining him were young khananda and mugham competition laureate Ayten Maharramova, People’s Artist Elchin Hashimov on tar, Honored Artist Elnur Ahmadov on kamancha, and Elnur Aliyev on percussion.

The ensemble captivated the audience with a repertoire of mugham pieces and folk songs, including “Azerbaijan,” “Karabakh,” “Beribakh,” “Khudayar Təsnifi,” “Çırpınırdı Qara Dəniz,” and “Yaşa Mənim Xalqım.”

Adding further vibrancy to the evening, the Zangezur–Azerbaijan Folk Dance Ensemble of the Azerbaijan Cultural Center in Turkey performed traditional dances such as “Cəngi,” “Zəngəzur Yallısı,” “Uzundərə,” and “Vağzalı.”

The audience greeted the performances with prolonged applause, underscoring the deep cultural bond and mutual appreciation between the two brotherly nations.
