A Memorandum of Cooperation has been signed between the Union of Theater Workers of Azerbaijan and the Theatrical Society of Georgia.

A press conference was held before the signing of the Memorandum, Azertag reported.

Chairman of the Azerbaijan Union of Theater Workers, artistic director and director of the State Academic National Drama Theater Azerpasha Nematov briefly spoke about the theatrical life of the country.

Chairman of the Theatrical Society, Advisor to the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Georgia Georgi Gegechkori and artistic director of Kutaisi State Vocational Drama Theater Konstantin Abashidze noted that Georgia is actively involved in the theater life of the world.

In particular, recently a number of memoranda of cooperation were signed with several countries.

The meeting discussed issues of mutually beneficial cooperation, including the exchange experiences and internships, mutual tours of theaters.

Then, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Azerbaijan Union of Theater Workers and the Theater Society of Georgia, as well as between the Kutaisi Drama Theater and the Sumgait State Drama Theater.
