The third Intellectual Game Championship is taking place in country's seventy regions.

The event is dedicated to the memory of National Leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev.

The championship is organized by IRELI Public Union with the assistance of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Youth and Sports.

The main goal of the project, implemented within the state program "Azerbaijani youth in 2017-2021", is to develop the intellectual movement in the country, assist youth education and reveal talented young people for participation in international games.

Another intellectual competition was held in Sumgayit with the participation of representatives of the Absheron region, Trend Life reported.

Addressing the event, the head of the department of socio-political and humanitarian issues of the Sumgayit Executive Power Farman Kazimov and IRELI Secretary Shahin Rahmanly spoke about the importance of the project in the intellectual development of young people and wished the participants success.

The qualifying round in two stages are taking place in 11 country's regions.

About 1,500 young people join the intellectual games "Xəmsə" (Khamsa), "Nə? Harada? Nə zaman?" (What? Where? When?), "Axtar-tap" (Search and find), "Vətəni Tanı" (Know your country).

Sumgayit team became the winner in "Vətəni Tanı" (Know your country) intellectual game.

Representatives of Absheron won "Nə? Harada? Nə zaman?" (What? Where? When?), "Axtar-tap" (Search and find) competitions.

Earlier, Sabail team took the first place in "What? Where? When?" competition.

Young people from Khatai gained the victory in the intellectual game "Know your country".

The representatives of Sabunchi disctrict became first in "Search and find" game, while Khazar team ranked first in "Khamsa" intellectual competition.

Shabran team became the winner in "Nə? Harada? Nə zaman?" (What? Where? When?), "Vətəni Tanı" (Know your country) intellectual games.

Representatives of Khachmaz took the first place in "Axtar-tap" (Search and find) game, while Guba team ranked first in "Xəmsə" (Khamsa) game.

Agdam team became the winner in "Nə? Harada? Nə zaman?" (What? Where? When?) and "Vətəni Tanı" (Know your country) intellectual games.

Representatives of Khachmaz took the first place in "Axtar-tap" (Search and find) game, while Tartar ranked first in "Khamsa" intellectual game.
