Ecological architecture project launched

Environmental protection gradually becomes an integral part of the life of modern man. Preservation of nature in urban conditions is the most urgent problem, as modern mega-cities literally suffocate because of the lack of clean air. Awareness of the fact that nature is not only beauty but also health led to the development of ecological architecture.
Ecological Architecture Project (Eko memarlıq) is initiated by the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture, Azerbaijan Union of Architects, ASAN Volunteers - Green ASAN with the support of the Club of Young Architects and Students, Baku White City, Trend Life reported.
The project aims at the development of ecological architecture, identification of young talents, disclosure of their creative potential and the implementation of innovative ideas.
Young architects from 18 to 35 years old can take part in the competition, both individually and collectively or as part of a construction company.
Eco architecture is a special architectural concept that takes into account, first of all, environmental factors when designing a human habitat. With the help of well-planned hyperstructures that accommodate the population of a single city, it is possible to significantly reduce negative environmental effects.
All this should be taken into account. Works must be submitted in electronic version, PDF format. Winners will be awarded with honorary diplomas and valuable prizes.
