Baku International Mugham Center hosted a New Year concert of great Italian musician - Luisa Sello on December 29.
The event, organized by the International Mugam Center and United Cultures was supported by the Ministry of Culture of Italy and under the patronage of Italian region of Friuli-Venezia-Giulia, Trend Life reported.
Luisa Sello, acclaimed Italian flute player, Ambassador of Music and Italian Culture in the World performed a very spectacular program for Baku audience, especially in occasion of the celebration one of the loveliest holidays of Azerbaijani people - New Year.
The concert included classical pieces from great composer of the past like Giachino Rossini, Geoge Bizet and V.A. Mozart, and pieces from famous contemporary composers as Ennio Morricone and Valter Silviotti.
Luisa Sello and Azerbaijani musicians delivered a fantastic performance, one that fans will probably remember for a long time. They presented the works by Stefano Muscaritolo and Kamala Alizade. One of these compositions was performed by great Azerbaijani Counter-tenor Ilham Nazarov.
Italian musician also mesmerized spectators with unique synthesis of Italian and Azerbaijani music, created by Kamala Alizade and Stefano Muscaritolo with the participation of the famous tar player, Honored Artist of Azerbaijan Sahib Pashazade.
The atmosphere was great. The whole audience gave them a standing ovation.
