Baku Fashion Club (BFC) has solemnly opened in Baku. An official inauguration ceremony took place in Excelsior Hotel & Spa.
Among the guests were fashion designer Fakhriya Khalafova, head of the Center of National Costumes Gulnara Khalilova, honored artists of Azerbaijan Tunzala Aghayeva, Melek Abbaszadeh, "Eurovision 2012" contestant, singer Sabina Babayeva.
Addressing the opening ceremony, which was held in a very warm and friendly atmosphere, the initiator of the project and head of the Baku Fashion Club, Lyubov Gutorova-Poyraz, informed all fashionistas about the club.
Under the slogan “We talk about Fashion plans to convene "under its wings'”, the club aims to bring together fashion experts, including famous designers, fashion bloggers, popular models, journalists, buyers, etc.
The joint meetings will also be held as part of the project.
During the meetings, there will be “open microphone” and each member of the fashion club will be able discuss the necessary information, to tell about new trends as well as their activities, ask questions and get answers.
Then, the guests made their proposals for the development of the fashion industry in the country. They also stressed that BFC will contribute to the industry.
BFC was opened with the support of Excelsior Hotel & Spa Baku.
