British military orchestra to perform in Baku

British military orchestra The Salamanca Band and Bugles of The Rifles will give a concert in Baku.
A joint concert of The Salamanca Band and Bugles of The Rifles and the Special Exemplary Military Orchestra of Azerbaijan Defense Ministry will be held on June 12, Report.az reported.
The gala concert will be held at Azerbaijan's State Philharmonic Hall named after Muslum Magomayev.
During the event, both military orchestras will play nation-specific pieces of music of both countries.
Moreover, The Salamanca Band and Bugles of The Rifles will give a joint concert together with Exemplary Military Orchestra of the State Border Service at Fountains Square on June 13.
The concert will be held between 11: 00-13: 00.
The Band and Bugles of The Rifles are based at Sir John Moore Barracks in Winchester, Hampshire, and is part of the Corps of Army Music. The band maintains traditions dating back over 200 years, including the use of the silver bugle and the distinctly fast marching speed - 140 paces per minute.
