Good news for theatre lovers!

This week seven plays will be staged at the Azerbaijan State Musical Theater on May 17- 21.
The theater presents a special repertoire in connection with the Baku 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games, Report.az reported.
The repertoire includes plenty of interesting plays such as “999th Night”, based on music of F.Amirov and story of “Thousand and One Nigths”, “Arshin Mal Alan” (U.Hajibeyli), “Silva” (I.Kalman), “There is Jackal in Every Forest” (A.Samedli), “Golden Wedding” (O.Kazimi, R.Heydar), “Thumbelina” (H.C. Andersen), “If Not That One, Then This One” (U.Hajibeyli) .
Baku residents and city guests will be able to see the staged works by U. Hajibeyli "Arshin mal alan", "If Not That One, Then This One", O.Kazimi and R.Heydar "Golden Wedding" with English subtitles.
The plays will be staged at 12:00 and 19:00. Ticket price is 6 AZN ($ 3).
Theatre lovers can buy tickets at all theater and concert ticket offices and ASAN Service centers.
Azerbaijan announced 2017 as the Year of Islamic Solidarity. Currently, Azerbaijan hosts Islamic Solidarity Games. This year Azerbaijan will host a number of forums dedicated to development and improvement of multiculturalism and tolerance in the world.
The Baku 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games started May 8 and will last until May 22 in Azerbaijan’s capital.
Azerbaijan’s capital city Baku was awarded the Games at the General Assembly of the Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation (ISSF) in Jeddah in July 2013.
