Traditional Turkish clothes to be shown in Baku

The “The Fashion Show of the Women Clothes of the Turkish World from Tradition to Present” will be held in Fairmont Hotel on December 21.

The event will be held with the supports of Yunus Emre Baku Institution, Ankara Development Institution, Gulnara Khalilova Fashion House and the Agency of Kazakhstan Women Fashion.

Those who will attend the event will have a chance to see colorful clothes decorated with traditional motives and ornaments.

The fashion show will consist of four parts. First, the special collection featuring Azerbaijani traditions, mainly colorful clothing style will be exhibited. Second, participants will be able to see the Turkish clothing style, which will take all for a magical historical journey. Later, the Kazakhstan Women Clothing Style will show ancient Turkic ethnicity. Finally, special clothes form stylist-designer Gulnara Khalilova’s collection- “The Carpets Language”, which is based on traditional Azerbaijan carpets, will be introduced.

Only 12 clothes from each collection will be exhibited. One singer from each country will make the event more excited by the live songs.

Speakers include Ibrahim Yıldırım – Director of Baku YEE , Gulnara Khalilova – Representative of Azerbaijan, Ilknur Kochbiyik – Representative of Turkey and Khanim-gul Abdrassulova – Representative of Kazakhstan .
