Shem Tov Levi to perform in Baku

Famous Israeli singer Shem Tov Levi will give a concert in Baku on December 3, Trend Life reported.
Shem-Tov Levi, composer, flutist and vocalist, is one of Israel’s most important and fascinating artists.
During his Baku concert, the singer will perform songs and instrumental segments from several periods—songs from the Ktzat Aheret, Tzlil Mechuvan, and Sheshet ensembles, alongside songs from his latest album.
His career has spanned more than four decades. After studies at Tel Aviv University and Berkeley College of Music in Boston and IDF service he began his professional career as a composer, writing two songs which appeared on Arik Einstein's 1972 album "Jasmine.
During the '70s he was a member of the progressive rock groups Ktzat Acheret, Hebrew for "A Little Different" and Sheshet. Since then he has recorded a wide variety of solo and collaborative albums spanning pop, rock, folk and jazz, as well as leading his own jazz and folk ensemble.
