"His father" to be screened in Italy [PHOTO]

The short feature film "His father" will screened in Italy, Trend Life reported.

The film was included in the competition program "Panorama" of the 17th film festival ASIATICA, which will take place from September 17 to October 2.

“His Father” is a psychological drama that describes the negative consequences of Nagorno-Karabakh war that broke out in the end of the 90’s.

The main character is a journalist who disappears in the war zone leaving his family desperate.

"His father” perfectly demonstrates the negative aftereffects of the war on the society.

The script writer and director of the film is Zamin Mammadov, director of photography is Ali Sultanov, the art director is Arif Niftiyev, executive producer is Rahim Sadigov, producer is Mushfig Hatamov.

Shamil Suleymanli, Mabud Maharramov, and Ulviyya Rza perform starring role in film.

Asiatica has now become an international annual event, where feature films, short films as well as documentaries are screened, which purposes exhibitions, seminars and realizes movie productions.

Founded in 2000, the festival is open to renovating ideas and new opportunities so as to gather more knowledge of the different cultures and traditions that make up the Asian world.
