Financial flaws revealed in 20 state bodies
Azerbaijan`s Accountancy Chamber has revealed
numerous legal violations in the spending of budgetary funds in up
to 20 state agencies, its chairman, Heydar Asadov, told the
press.
The auditing sought to look into the way state programs are being implemented in various sectors of the national economy. Additionally, the monitoring covered the regional divisions of the Social Security Fund, the finance departments of executive bodies and Azerbaijan`s embassies abroad.
Asadov said that as a result of the audits, funds worth 2 million manats (over $2.4 million) have been repaid to the state budget.
