Japanese gov’t to realize new project in Azerbaijan
The project for "Reconstruction of Irrigation System in Kamalli village of Saatli region" will be presented in the Saatli region of Azerbaijan on June 9.
The project will be realized under "Grassroots and Human Security Grant Assistance Programme" funded by the Japanese government.
The event will be attended by leadership of Saatli, Japanese ambassador Tsuguo Takahashi, and representatives of local public bodies, AzerTag state news agency reported.
The project aims to improve the irrigation system of Kamalli village and two neighboring villages through reconstructing irrigation facilities.
The total amount of the Japanese Grant Assistance for the project is $121, 000.
