Vietnam seeks to study CBA’s experience on forecasting method
Vietnam is interested in studying the experience of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) in the area of macroeconomic forecasting, the bank reported.
A delegation of the Vietnam State Bank visited the CBA on September 24-26 for an exchange of experience with as the Azerbaijani colleagues.
During the visit, the delegation was briefed about the characteristics and work principles of the financial programming system and the used forecasting methods.
The Vietnamese delegation emphasised the benefit of Azerbaijan's experience and expressed a hope for further continuation of cooperation in this sphere.
A macroeconomic forecasting system based on financial programming has been used at the Azerbaijani Central Bank since 2005.
