Participants of World Economic Forum visit Sumgayit
Participants of the World Economic Forum, SHAPE CIS, Central Asia and Caucasus: Vision 2020, have visited the Sumgayit Technology Park to familiarize themselves with enterprises here.
The visitors were briefed about activities of the Technopark, as well as plants, workshops manufacturing products for electric power industry.
Technopark is a giant industrial enterprise realizing new infrastructure projects in Azerbaijan. There are nine plants which provided job places to about 1,000 persons. Eight more plants are also expected to be built in the near future.
The visitors praised dynamic social and economic development of Azerbaijan, as well as application of up-to-date technologies and facilities in enterprises meeting modern standards.
