Azerbaijan inflation hits 0.5 percent in Feb.
The prices of consumer goods and tariffs for services in Azerbaijan In February increased by 0.5 percent compared to the previous month, State Statistics Committee said.
In February, food prices increased by one percent, tariffs for services and prices for non-food products remained unchanged.
During the month, the country observed a decline in prices for flour, buckwheat, pasta, beef and lamb, fresh fish, raw milk, kefir, eggs, butter, sugar, lemons, oranges, greens, beets, carrots and potatoes.
Prices for such foods as rice, semolina, bread, vermicelli and pasta, chicken, sausages, pasteurized milk, sour cream, cheese, oil, bananas, apples, pears, quince, pomegranates, chestnuts, cabbage, cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, and garlic increased.
