Argentine-Azerbaijan agricultural projects to aid access to world markets
Argentina and Azerbaijan are interested in the joint development of agriculture in both countries, Argentinean Minister of Agriculture Norberto Yauhar told journalists in Baku on Tuesday.
According to him, firstly Argentina is interested in the development of livestock, particularly high yielding cattle breeding. Also the country has an interest in cooperating in crop development with the introduction of new technology for growing higher quality products.
"In recent years Argentina has achieved good results in the development of agriculture with the help of modern technology and we are pleased to share this experience with Azerbaijan. As part of our cooperation up to 2020, we can achieve good results," the minister said.
By cooperating in this field, Azerbaijan and Argentina can jointly enter the markets of third countries, Yahuar said.
"In order to enter a new stage of cooperation it is necessary for experts from Azerbaijan to visit Argentina and vice versa experts from Argentina to visit Azerbaijan in the near future, to become acquainted with the situation in the agricultural sector of both countries," he said.
