Azeri-Italian trade hits $10 bln
The trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Italy has hit $10 billion, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Italy Vagif Sadikhov told journalists on Wednesday.
He said that most of the bilateral trade turnover falls to the supplies of oil and oil products and products of the chemical industry to Italy. Italy exports equipment and light industry products to Azerbaijan.
Sadikhov said that the indices of trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Italy are much higher compared to other European countries.
The ambassador said a meeting of the Azerbaijani-Italian intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation and business forum of business circles of the two countries are expected to be held in Baku by late 2012.
