AGBank attracts first ICD loan
AGBank, one of Azerbaijan`s biggest banks, has signed a $5 million loan agreement with the private sector arm of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), the bank told Trend news agency.
The purpose of this first loan the bank attracted from the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD), which is provided for four years, is to finance projects that could boost development of small and medium-sized businesses in Azerbaijan, according to the bank.
The agreement was signed last Thursday by ICD`s CEO Khaled Mohammed Al-Aboodi and AGBank Board Chairman Azer Movsumov.
