2012 budget amended
Azerbaijan`s parliament on Tuesday approved amendments to the 2012 state budget submitted by President Ilham Aliyev.
Under the changes, budget revenues and expenses were increased by 600 million manats to 17.038 billion manats (about $21.704 billion) and 17.672 billion manats ($22.512 billion), respectively.
Finance Minister Samir Sharifov told the parliamentary sitting that 350 million manats of the additional budgetary funds will be spent to eliminate the aftermath of natural disasters that occurred in recent months.
According to Sharifov, the increase in budgetary spending will not affect inflation in the country.
