IDB allots funds to boost securities market
The Islamic Development Bank (IDB) has allocated a $260,000 grant
to the Azerbaijan State Committee on Securities to boost the
securities market of the country.
The allocation will be used to open branches of the Committee's National Depository Center in different regions, considering that part of the joint-stock companies in Azerbaijan are operating outside the capital Baku.
The center, which currently has a branch only in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, will operate new branches in Ganja, Lankaran, Shaki and Guba districts.
