Baku to host Azeri-Czech business forum
BAKU – The Azerbaijani-Czech Business Forum will be held in Baku on May 17.
The forum will be attended by entrepreneurs from Azerbaijan and the Czech Republic, working in such areas as industry, agriculture, construction, ICT, public health and logistics.
The forum will be held during the first official visit of Czech President Vaclav Klaus to Azerbaijan on May 16-19.
Klaus will be accompanied by a business delegation consisting of 40 people.
Azerbaijan is the largest trade partner of the Czech Republic in the South Caucasus. In 2010 the trade turnover between the two countries amounted to $38 million.
