New head of water supplier Azersu appointed
BAKU – Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has issued an order appointing Gorkhmaz Huseynov the new chairman of the state-run water supplier Azersu, AzerTAj state news agency reported.
So far, Huseynov has served as the state energy firm SOCAR’s vice president on social issues.
President Aliyev ruled on Monday to dismiss the head of Azersu Nizamaddin Rzayev, who headed the open joint-stock company from 2005. The presidential decree did not cite reasons for the dismissal.
