Azerbaijan to create real estate cadastre in 2011
BAKU – Creating a single real estate cadastre in Azerbaijan will cover all real estate in the country, as well as confirm their legal rights by the state, Ramiz Guliyev, an executive of the Azerbaijani State Property Committee said during a presentation on Wednesday.
"Creating a single cadastre system provides an opportunity for science-based management of real estate. It contributes to its more efficient use," Guliyev said.
He added that the system will be also used by the relevant executive authorities, municipalities, legal and physical entities.
There are about 15,000 state real estate facilities in the country.
