Baku to host regional energy forum
BAKU – The Azeri capital will host the first regional renewable energy forum on September 7-8.
The forum will be organized by the Germany based European Management Academy (EMA) and EVRA International Inc. Company (USA), with the support of the European Commission.
EC sent an official letter supporting the event.
"European Commission supports the 1st Renewable Energy Forum in the Caucasus to be held in Baku, Azerbaijan. It’s both timely and relevant for the region," the letter said.
"Defining and adequate response to the challenge of climate change in a collaboration of government, business and science institutions is of major importance. Every player has a different perspective and awareness of the various components with respect to climate change. Therefore it is a great chance to bring people from fields, background and experience together to work on sustainable and responsible solutions."
