Inflation predicted at 25% by year-end
Inflation will reach 25% in Azerbaijan by the end of 2007,
according to research conducted by a local group.
Domestic prices rose by 22.5% over the past year, the Economic Research Center estimated.
The government cited divergent figures. According to the State Statistics Committee, domestic prices increased only 16% in January-October. The government forecasts inflation at no more than 16.4% by the year-end.
