Azercell named Company of the Year
Azerbaijan’s leading cellular operator, Azercell,
has won the Company of the Year National Business Award, which has
been conferred by the Consulting and Business journal since 2006 to
successful businesses operating in various sectors of economy.
Azercell received the award in two nominations, being named both Company of the Year and Telecommunications Company of the Year.
"We are always ready to make effort for the sake of the telecommunications sector and the country’s development as a whole," says Ulviyya Hasanzade, the Head of Corporate Communications and Social Responsibility at Azercell Telecom LLC.
Azercell is providing services to 3.7 million people across the country through its 1,700 base stations and numerous customer services. The company has invested about $1 billion in the national economy over the 13 years of its operation.*
