Bakotech international group of companies has announced the opening of its representative office in Baku.

The company operates in the markets of Eastern Europe, the Baltic states, the CIS, the Balkans with offices in Ukraine, Latvia, Kazakhstan, Poland and the Czech Republic.

The Baku office became the sixth for the company, whose representative offices cover the markets of 26 countries of the CIS, Asia and Europe.

The priority tasks of the Baku branch cover the development of the distribution channel, project support and training of technical personnel of partners and clients in Azerbaijan.

The new regional office is headed by Ruslan Muradov, who has previously held key positions in leading IT companies for eight years.

The decision to open an office was made due to Bakotech’s growing presence in the Azerbaijani market.

“Our presence in the Azerbaijani market is constantly growing. Therefore, for the most effective work with local partners and customers, we decided to open a representative office of Bakotech in Baku,” stated Eugene Badakh, CEO of Bakotech.

“Previously, we have already worked in this territory and we see the high potential of the region for the development and comprehensive introduction of innovations, which is the main goal of the company,” he added.

Ruslan Muradov said that by opening a representative office in Baku, Bakotech, first of all, intends to give the business such a level of project support as if they worked directly with the vendor.

“The company’s presence and involvement in operational matters will help us better understand the needs of partners and customers, and in general will expand our partner channel,” he stressed.

Muradov also noted that the company intends to develop the expertise of partners to achieve effective and significant indicators due to technical competence and support from vendors.

The portfolio of proposed vendors is formed from the leading developers of solutions and software for IT infrastructure and information security.

ICT is considered to be one of the crucial spheres for the further development of Azerbaijan's economy and an integral part of the economic and political reforms, which are currently implemented in the country. The income to be obtained in this sector in Azerbaijan is projected to hit $9 billion by 2020.
