Online stock exchange opens
The Caspian Oil and Gas Stock Exchange
(www.oil-exchange.com), an interactive
online portal about the fuel and energy industry in the Caspian
region, opened in Baku on September 20, the 15th anniversary of the
Contract of the Century.
The stock exchange was established with the support of the Caspian-European Integration Business Club.
Telman Aliyev, CEIBC`s President and CEO, said that, before a new business week, entrepreneurs would be able to enter this portal via their cell phones and computers to familiarize themselves with the activity of the exchange and make decisions on participation in the project or bids.
According to Aliyev, bids will run over half a year, though the exchange has begun operating on a trial mode for now.
