The first Baku PR forum of specialists from Turkic-speaking countries was held in Baku on January 26.

The forum was attended by PR specialists from Turkey, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan, as well as local specialists, Trend Life reported.

At the opening, the Chairman of the Azerbaijan Public Relations Specialists Association (APRA), Ilham Mammadzade, spoke about the activities of the APRA, which he leads, as well as about the future projects of this organization.

He noted that the main purpose of the forum is to unite PR specialists of Turkic-speaking countries at a single event, expanding the horizons of mutual cooperation between Turk-speaking PR specialists, and thus ensuring the development of the PR sphere by generating new trends and ideas in this area.

The event, which consisted of three sessions, featured presentations on various topics in the field of public relations.

The first session of the forum was dedicated to the topic "Trends in the development of modern communication technologies".

President of the International Association for Public Relations (IPRA), Svetlana Starevreva spoke on the topic "Telling your story in the era of digital transformation and artificial intelligence", the head of the Turkish Society Public Relations (TÜHİD) Goncha Karakash addressed the topic "Future Trends in PR"....

Besides, co-founder of KeepFace platform in Azerbaijan, Emin Veliyev discussed "Modern communication channels and influensers" and business consultant of Afandi Consultancy company Ilham Efendiyev addressed the topic "Effective digital PR".

The second session was devoted to the issues of branding and public relations of countries.

Former IPRA President Jeyda Aydede made a presentation on the topic "How is marketing and PR of the country done". The session continued with presentations by a member of the European Expert Council Veli Alibekov on the topic "Can a country become a brand?".

The head of the Bishkek PR School Gulnura Toraliyeva discussed "Anti-crisis communications and strategic approaches in PR", as well as the director of the Scientific and Methodological Center for Culture and Further Training Asiba Usubaliyev spoke on the topic "Possibilities of PR technologies in the promotion of Turkic culture."

During the third session, reviewing the state of development of PR, as well as its problems and prospects in Turkic-speaking countries, APRA external relations coordinator Kamran Aliyev spoke on "Public Relations in Azerbaijan: unsystematic PR or PR based on campaigns".

Head of the Action Global Communications Kazakhstan Tariel Jalalla addressed the theme "PR market of Kazakhstan and trends", director of the Laboratoriya PR Agency Afet Yagubova spoke on the topic "Is PR PR in the era of paid media".

In addition, deputy director of the International Press Club of Uzbekistan Jaloliddin Usmonov spoke on the topic "PR in Uzbekistan".

During the forum, speakers stressed the importance of public relations in terms of the success of an organization or company.

They underlined that consistency and duration are major criteria in the implementation of PR activities.

At the end of the event, it was decided to send proposals to the Azerbaijan Ministry of Education on the inclusion of PR as an independent specialty in the educational program for teaching in higher educational institutions of the country.

In conclusion, the speakers and sponsors were awarded by the event organizers.

The organizers of the forum initiated by the Association of Public Relations Specialists of Azerbaijan (APRA) are Baku School of PR LLC and Alibayov Communication & Consulting LLC.

The event was sponsored by Sinerji Pro (platinum sponsor), mobile operator Nar (telecommunications partner), Ulduz chocolate factory, and other companies.

The forum is officially supported by the London-based International Public Relations Association (IPRA), as well as the Turkish Public Relations Association (TÜHİD).
