Russian Helicopters to discuss  creation of service center in Azerbaijan

Russian Helicopters Holding Company plans to discuss the creation of a service center for Russian-made helicopters in the territory of Azerbaijan during the ADEX-2018 exhibition, deputy director general for the after-sales service Igor Chechikov told journalists.

“During the exhibition, we intend to offer our partners the latest models of civil and military helicopters in conjunction with solutions for their further servicing. We also expect to update the issue of creating a service center for Russian-made helicopters on the territory of Azerbaijan,” he said.

During the ADEX-2018, Russian Helicopters Holding Company will present the current model range of civil and military helicopter equipment. The models of Mi-38 helicopters in transport and passenger performance, Ansat, as well as Mi-35M will be presented. Specialists of the holding also plan to hold negotiations with traditional and potential customers of Russian helicopters and services for their after-sales service.

Chechikov announced about the agreement signed with the head of Silk Way Helicopter Services Azer Sultanov on the establishment of a joint enterprise for servicing and repairing Russian Mi-8/17 civilian helicopters in Azerbaijan at the last ADEX-2016 exhibition.

ADEX-2018 is held in Baku on September 25-27. This year, 224 companies from 29 countries take part in the exhibition.

The event features 11 national stands from Azerbaijan, China, France, Iran, Israel, Russia, Serbia, Turkey, the Republic of Belarus, Ukraine, Pakistan, and representing leading companies from these countries. Russia is represented by 25 companies at the exhibition.
