Telecom companies to merge
The Azerbaijani government plans to incorporate all major
communication enterprises of the country, chairman of the State
Committee on Property, Karam Hasanov, said.
Hasanov told reporters that a new entity, Azertelekom, will be established in lieu of the Aztelekom, Baku Telephone Communication and Television and Radio production associations. A presidential decree in this regard has been drafted, he said.
