American Bureau of Shipping auditing Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping CJSC

The American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), the classification society, started the procedure of audit of Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping CJSC on November 11, said a message on the company’s website Nov. 14.
The audit is conducted according to the international management system standards approved in 2015, in the field of security, quality management, ecology, energy efficiency and labor protection.
“During the first two days of the procedure, the audit was conducted on ships that are part of the fleet of Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping CJSC,” the message said. “During the audit of the structural units, levels of compliance of organizing work and documentation on shore and floating facilities with international management system standards will be determined and analyzed.”
The audit will end on November 17.
