AGBank awarded `best brand of the year`
AGBank has been named the top financial institution
in Azerbaijan. The bank was awarded Brand Award Azerbaijan at the
ceremony conferring the first national award of the Caspian Energy
international media group. The event, held in Baku last Wednesday,
took place as the organization marked its tenth anniversary.
AGBank won the award in the nomination "Best brand of the year in the banking sector" by gaining the most votes.
The survey to determine the winners of the award in various nominations had been held from May 15, 2008 to January 10, 2009. About 5,000 people from 50 countries around the globe took part in the voting, with 30% of respondents polled outside Azerbaijan.
Brand Award Azerbaijan is currently conferred to over 30 organizations, including mass media, which have played an important role in boosting Azerbaijan`s economic development and promoting stability in the country.
