ACSDA condemns another grave crime by Armenia
By Laman ismayilova
The Association for Civil Society Development in Azerbaijan has issued a statement condemning a grave crime committed by Armenian armed forces in Alkhanli village of Fuzuli region, Azertac reported.
"Military and political leadership of Armenia committed another crime. Yesterday, in the evening on July 4, Armenian armed forces in our occupied territories shelled civilians and civil buildings of Alkhanli village of Fuzuli region with mortars and grenades,” the statement raeds,
“As a result of this inhuman action, residents of Alkhanli village – Allahverdiyeva Sahiba Idris gizi (1966) and her granddaughter Guliyeva Zahra Elnur qizi (2016) died, another civilian – Guliyeva Salminaz Iltifat gizi (1965) was heavily wounded and taken to hospital."
The Association for Civil Society Development in Azerbaijan resolutely condemned this grave crime committed by Armenian state against peaceful Azerbaijani citizens.
"We call on OSCE Minsk Group and international organizations to take decisive actions for putting an end to aggressive policy of Armenian state," the statement concludes.
For about three decades Armenia and Azerbaijan are in a state of war following Yerevan’s aggression, ethnic cleansing policy and illegal territorial claims against Azerbaijan. Armenia keeps under control over 20 percent of Azerbaijan's internationally recognized territory, including Nagorno-Karabakh and seven adjacent regions in a brutal war in the early 1990s.
Despite a fragile ceasefire agreement signed in 1994, Armenia keeps violating armistice with Azerbaijan.
