Eurotourism Travel Agency took part at the International Mediterranean Tourism Market (IMTM 2019), organized in Tel-Aviv, Israel, Trend reports referring to the company.

IMTM 2019, the 25-th Annual International Tourism Exhibition and Fair, took place in Tel Aviv Convention Center on February 12-13, 2019.

IMTM is the official and only professional exhibition for the tourism trade market in Israel. The event is a trendsetter for the global and local tourist industry.

Representatives of Israeli tourism market and participants from other countries, hotel and car rental companies, tour operators, professional associations, municipalities and technology suppliers took part in the event.

In the morning, the exhibition was organized only for professionals in the tourism industry, and in the afternoon it was open to everyone.

Workshops and press conferences were also held within the IMTM.

Azerbaijan is represented by the delegation of the State Tourism Agency and the Azerbaijan Tourism Board at IMTM 2019 to promote its tourism potential and new tourism brand image awareness.

Eurotourism Travel Agency also participated in this exhibition and successfully set up new partnerships. The company representative held over 30 business meetings with leaders and leaders of travel companies in Israel. The representatives of Indian, Kazakh and Russian companies also showed great interest in the stand. In general, the exhibition was quite productive, and will have a positive impact on the flow of tourists coming from Israel.

Israel has particularly stood out among the countries that have shown interest in Azerbaijan in recent years.

The number of tourists coming from Israel to Azerbaijan increased by 161 percent (40,000 travelers) in 2018 compared to 2017.

In 2018, the number of flights between Baku and Tel Aviv has increased dramatically.

Israir Airlines & Tourism Ltd., an Israeli airline based at Sde Dov Airport (SDV) in Tel Aviv, is carrying out flights to Baku three times a week, as part of tourist packages. The direct flight is of great significance in terms of mutual increase in tourism turnover.

The International Mediterranean Tourism Market Exhibition (IMTM) is the annual and oldest event of the tourism industry in Israel that brings together Israeli tourists, tourism operators, their colleagues and clients from abroad and the general public, and is the main annual meeting point of the Israeli tourism industry.

IMTM It was organized by "Ortra" Ltd. and Israel Travel News, in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and is sponsored by the Israel Hotel Association, the Israel Tourist Association and the Association of Travel Agents in Israel.

The exhibition is intended for all those involved in the various tourism sectors – domestic tourism, incoming tourism, countries and tourism bodies from abroad, and has a wide range of Israeli exhibitors: tourism associations from all over Israel, airlines, hotels, car rental companies, shipping companies and suppliers.

The exhibition brought together more than 50 countries and 20 tourism ministers.
